Welcome to DoChéri, a family-owned chocolate company founded by Maryna Steadman. Maryna's passion for chocolate began in her native Ukraine and grew when she moved to Darien, Connecticut, where she saw an opportunity to give locals a unique experience with European style chocolates.
For Maryna, making chocolate is more than just a business – it is an art form that allows her to share her creativity and love of high-end chocolate with others. She is dedicated to using high-quality ingredients, which she selects from European suppliers. Her goal is to create delicious flavors that expand her customers’ palates and delight their taste buds.
The meaning behind DoChéri
“DoCheri means daughters in my native language and, for me, reflects my love for my family, the most important part of my life.” Maryna’s passion for chocolate is deeply intertwined with her devotion to her family. As she looks to the future, Maryna hopes to pass on her knowledge and expertise to her children. When her two daughters and – surprise! – new son grow old enough, she envisions them joining her at DoChéri, where they can learn the art and wonder of chocolate.
